Work, Rootedness, Dreaming of a Future for His Territory

Bernardino Cabrera drives this project with a clear vision: to generate real opportunities in his own land.

His goal is not to receive aid, but to create jobs.
To develop initiatives that enable families to sustain themselves, produce, and live with dignity within their territory.

He seeks to strengthen community rootedness, preventing young people from having to migrate due to a lack of opportunities.

The project is born from this conviction:
to build a future in the very place where life already exists.

Immediate Priority — Water System

Right now, the most urgent need is to secure access to water.

Support is needed to:

  • Install a water pump system

  • Ensure reliable water access for families and future visitors

  • Enable the next stages of development

This is the key step that unlocks everything else.

Stage 1 — Infrastructure Foundation

This is the most important phase. It ensures that the community has the essential conditions to live, host, and grow in a sustainable way.

At this stage, support focuses on:

  • Building and installing the water pump system

  • Developing dry toilets

  • Basic infrastructure for community wellbeing

Without this step, nothing that follows can truly sustain itself.

Stage 2 — Volunteer Activation

Once the basic infrastructure is in place, the project begins to open its doors.

At this stage, support includes:

  • Participating as a volunteer on the land

  • Supporting construction and maintenance

  • Contributing skills and time to strengthen the community

This is where connection begins, between people and territory.

Stage 3 — Regenerative Activities

With the foundation stable and a flow of people engaged, the project expands into its full expression.

At this stage, support includes:

  • Participating in conscious tourism experiences

  • Joining cultural, ecological, and educational activities

  • Supporting local production and community economy

This is where the project becomes alive in a broader sense.
